About Hammerman Brothers

The Hammerman Brothers story traces its roots to the 1780s, when a young man left Eastern Europe to become a watchmaker. By the 1930s, his descendants — brothers Benjamin, Bernard and Hyman Hammerman — were working on Bowery Street in New York City, then a prominent hub for American diamond jewellery. After serving in World War II, the brothers founded their own fine watch and jewellery company in 1946, going on to become one of America's most respected jewellery houses.
